Adds code intelligence to Atom.

Will help you automatically close HTML tags.

  1. emmet

Adds code expansion to Atom.

  1. ssslint

Adds CSS error checking abilities to Atom.

Adds the ability to display colour in Atom code files.

  1. language-ejs

Adds EJS language support to Atom.

  1. atom-beautify

Helps to automatically format your code in Atom.

Troubleshooting Package Installation

If you have issues installing any of the packages, I’ve listed a few steps you can try to get it to work.

  1. Make sure you have the most up to date version of Atom.

You can update Atom by going to


File → Check for Update

  1. Make sure you are not using VPN or using a Proxy

Some of the packages will not be able to install when they can’t verify your identity and your signing certificate. Make sure you switch off your VPN while you try to install the packages.

  1. Try disabling your firewall and anti-virus during the package install.

Some antivirus and firewalls have rules in place that don’t let applications connect to the internet. Try disabling them while you install the packages and then re-enabling them later.

  1. Issues with installing Atom Beautify

Try quitting Atom then restarting it again.

Try uninstalling the package and re-installing it again.

If you want your code to be highlighted in the same colours as mine, be sure to have your Atom theme set as “One Dark”.
